The proposed workshop concerns the possibility to use the Kerbal videogame for science education in school
Kerbal Space Program (KSP) is a simulator for space flight that permits to face the building of rockets, satellites and rovers. Moreover its allows to study the needed orbits and energy to go to other planets and moons, taking into account the thrust of engines, its economical costs, power supply , aereodynamics and all other parameters.
KSP has been used in its educational version for a competition for high school students within the project "Cosmic
Mission" , granted by MIUR, that involved about 100 teachers and 1000 students.
