FROM "MICROBES" INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE FOOD CHAINS
The SIMBA Project, Sustainable Innovation of MicroBiome Applications in Food System, is financed by the HORIZON 2020 Program of which ENEA is partner and leader of a specific work package. The general objective of the project is to understand the structure and functions of microbiomes in marine and terrestrial food chains and to verify the sustainability of microbial innovations in the food system to increase productivity, sustainability and food safety.
