BIO fabrication: bio-based digital manufacturing

Discovering bio-manufacturing! The talk traces an overview of digital manufacturing techniques (3D printing, robot fabrication, grow fabrication) which, through the use of living material (bacteria, algae, fungi, etc.), create objects for different industrial sectors, from design to architecture and from biomedical to electronics.
New ways of conceiving and manufacturing objects that trace the frontiers of the new manufacturing closer to the way in which nature shapes our environment.
