One Love Machine Band

The One Love Machine Band is a gang of moving Sculptures, aka Robots (Bass guitar, Drums, Flutes),... made from scrap metal...which are totally alive ... and happy about it..! Matter running wild. The parts of my sculptures quit their previous jobs and mutated into what they would like to be - and then praised their spark of life by enjoying it and speaking the universal language of love: Music. They actually play their instruments! All sounds are live and direct. Everything is powered by air pressure and controlled by midi.
Kolja likes to present his sculptures in what he calls an Actionbition:
An Actionbition is an Exhibition with Action. In a time of Action, the robots show their character roles, all together and alive, like in the muppet show. After Showtime, the exhibition invites the audience to come close and look at the artwork in calm. I also bring several classic (non-moving) sculptures.
