PLAN’EAT is a project funded by the European Commission which has the main objective of promoting the transition towards healthy and sustainable eating habits. The project envisages, in a first phase, an in-depth study of the factors and determinants of eating habits, necessary to then create effective recommendations, tools and interventions aimed at the actors of the food chain. Consumers are the protagonists of the project because they are the first recipients of the recommendations. PLAN'EAT has the ambition to give the EU the tools for the implementation of effective nutritional and sustainability policies with a possible degree of harmonization between the different Member States.
