FOOD&SPECTROSCOPY: A UNIQUE ALLIANCE FOR FOOD SAFETY
This project presents the basic concepts of the work being done in the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology to apply optical spectroscopy approaches to the analysis of food materials, particularly to identify harmful contaminants (mycotoxins or pesticide residues) or adulteration. To do this we use light and study the response of materials to different types of light stress.
Together with CNR, ENEA presents its work making use of acoustic laser spectroscopy again for the study of food material quality
