Come rappresentante Automotive per ST ho avuto l’occasione di presentare dei casi reali nell’ambito automobilistico, dove siamo presenti con i nostri prodotti: ho conosciuto i maker e gli appassionati di tecnologia che li usano, ma soprattutto ho avuto modo di consolidare e tessere nuovi rapporti e collaborazioni con le diverse Squadre Corse universitarie presenti, ed ingaggiare nuovi partner interessati al loro utilizzo. Un’esperienza di grande valore da ripetere.

DESIGN FOR CHILDREN: A DIALOGUE BETWEEN DESIGNERS AND PEDAGOGISTS.
An opportunity for education professionals and designers to meet face-to-face, and exchange opinions and insights on the topic of education. The event will include the presentation of 4 projects dedicated to spaces and objects for childhood, conceived and developed by IED graduates.
The attendees will include Andrea Lupi, President of Fondazione Montessori, and Laura Negrini and Mauro Del Santo, the coordinators of the IED Rome Master course, who will provide feedback on the pedagogical value of the projects.

Laura Negrini
Architect, Co-Founder - BAN Baglivo Negrini Architetti. She trained in the Netherlands, working with UNstudio on major international projects. She collaborated with architect Michele De Lucchi, developing the new corporate image of Poste Italiane and Enel Terna. In 2004, she founded the aQarchitetturaquotidiana studio, and in 2015, the Baglivo Negrini Architetti studio. She has been collaborating with IED Roma for many years, taking on the role of Director of the School of Design in 2009 and coordinating the interdepartmental projects since 2017. Since 2019, she has been the Director of IED Roma.
Mauro Del Santo
Product Designer He specializes in furniture design and digital manufacturing technologies. His clients include Mitsubishi, Selex, UNHCR, ENI, and Google.org. His projects have received major recognition, including two mentions in the ADI Design Index and the ADI Lazio Award of Excellence. In 2012, he founded the UnSolid brand, which produces lamps using 3D printing technologies. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked as Project Manager and Product Designer for children's products and learning tools at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Since 2005, he has taught in various educational institutions, including IED, where he manages the Design Labs and teaches in the Product Design courses.
Andrea Lupi
Andrea Lupi is a researcher specializing in pedagogy and educational methods, with a particular interest in early childhood education. He is currently researcher at the University of Urbino, where he works on projects ranging from early childhood education to innovative teaching practices in Latin and Ancient Greek, as well as analyzing teaching practices and their relationship to children's learning outcomes. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Pedagogy and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and the History of Philosophy. His commitment to research and education has led him to collaborate with numerous educational institutions and present his work at national and international conferences, as well as publish numerous articles and monographs. Andrea is also an active member of various scientific committees and chairs the Fondazione Montessori Italia. He blends traditional values with a progressive approach to social issues.
