We are pleased to invite you to TALK-CINEFORUM "Artificial Intelligence: A Tool for Peace", on the occasion of the first edition of the Italia Media Art Festival (IMAF), which will take place during Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition 2024.
The event will feature the participation of Marinellys Tremamunno, founder and director of IMAF, alongside international artists Silvia De Gennaro (Italy), Mariia Plekhova (Russia), Victoria Thomen (Dominican Republic), and Maria Korporal (Germany). This cine forum will be a unique opportunity to explore and reflect on the festival's curatorial theme.
Event Program:
Video Screening: A video will be screened showcasing some of the video art pieces selected for this edition of the IMAF, offering an overview of the various international artistic perspectives on the festival's curatorial theme, "Artificial Intelligence: A Tool for Peace."
Reflection and Discussion: Following the screening, there will be a space for dialogue and reflection with the participating artists and the audience. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence, not only as a technological tool but also as a means to promote peace and global cooperation.
In a world driven by rapid technological advances, the Italia Media Art Festival aims to be a space for reflection, where art and technology converge. It is an event that, from its base in Rome, seeks to become a free platform for emerging artists from all over the world, while also promoting dialogue on the urgent issues of our time.
We look forward to exploring together the intersection of art, technology, and the potential of artificial intelligence as a force for positive change!
