Many patients with ALS completely lose their ability to speak and to use their hands. ThinkIt can get them communicating and becoming more independent. A BCI device is able to capture signals from brain. It sends data to a pc which gets a robotic head speaking and controls room lights and other devices. The robotic head is also able to look at the surrounding environment and to track people, thanks to webcams, providing the patient a different point of view. Come to try it! Concentrating and blinking your eyes will give life to the robotic head and give ligth and movement to different room equipments.
