Ociaj
The project is combining the traditional Italian woodworking craft skills and the digital open source shared design. Through online sales the glasses are delivered worldwide.
The frames are fully customizable ( wood, shape, size, drawings, engravings).
The project is entirely Made in Italy.
Filippo Anzivino, Matteo Sirianni
Born in Moncalieri November 10, 1991.
Resident in Strada Baldissero 61, Chieri (TO).
Degree in Design and Visual Communication. Nine years of training in the field of art, craft and design industry.
He graduated in 2010 at the First Art School of Turin, in which were born his basics of art and design. Also, after a year of exchange program in the United States, in 2009 he achieved an American diploma at the Academy of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, where he learnt an excellent English.
In 2015 he graduated in Design and Visual Communication at the Polytechnic of Turin, with a thesis entitled "Designing in the third industrial revolution. Techlab and Ociaj, experiences of innovation rooted in tradition", fully consultable online. Within the period of study at the Politecnico he participate in an Erasmus semester at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, which has expanded the horizons of designing and where he learnt the basics of the German language.
He had also worked with various local architectural firms.
In 2013, participation in the project Sunslice, within the international competition Solar Decathlon, for the construction of active and zero-impact buildings.
In 2014 he started the project Ociaj, that he fully as a self-producer.
