Alligator Board – MultiExtruder 3D Printer Electronic Solution
3D Artists presents the Alligator Board and the Piggy Expansion Module, a complete and innovative electronic solution for 3D printers, born to satisfy makers and professionals needs. The various interfaces available make the Alligator Board ready for IoT, allowing the printer connection with Raspberry-PI, tablet and smartphone with the opportunity to connect also an LCD add-on.

The idea of developing a new electronic board, was born visiting the Maker Faire Rome 2013 edition, proposing a solution to all the most common printing problems related to the electronics.
Then we founded the 3D Artists team and we started the development of the project, designing the Alligator Board.
The team has taken advantage of expertise and experience in the electronic and mechanical design, by developing a complete and innovative solution, suitable for makers and professionals.
After one year of research and development we have presented the Alligator Board at the Maker Faire Rome 2014.
The 3D artists Team was founded on 2013 by Francesco Gargiulo and Riccardo Capponi. In 2014 also Marco Antonini and Michele Scorsipa joined into the team.
In April 2015 the 3D Artists team has concluded successfully the Indiegogo crowfounding campaign (http://igg.me/at/AlligatorBoard/x).
