Co-Scienza Ambientale: strumenti per il monitoraggio degli ambienti acquatici

Co-Scienza Ambientale has the purpose to design and build low cost instruments that can monitor water environment and alert to pollution events.
Two instruments have been built and tested: ACID-Carousel and ConducTube. The first can automatically measure different water parameters by means of commercial test papers, the second measures electrical conductivity of water. Both are designed to work without assistance and for long time.

Co-Scienza Ambientale: strumenti per il monitoraggio degli ambienti acquatici

Paolo Bonelli, Domenico Cardinale, Mauro Alfieri, gruppo FB: CoScienza Ambientale

My name is Paolo Bonelli, I studied atmospheric Physics, I worked as meteorologist at Italian National Meteorological Service and at Electrical Utilities Company where my work concerned the application of meteorology to environment and renewable energy production. I have always been enthusiastic about scientific DIY, I use Arduino to build many devices for measuring and automating. I am an active membership of CISE2007 (www.cise2007.eu) association, where I work on ARETHA project in order to build a new solar collector with recycled matherials.
My name is Domenico Cardinale, I was born in Matera (Italy) on 18th of August, 1985. I frequented the technical school for chemists and then I got a graduate degree in environment biology at the Bari University. During that period I knew the maker world and Arduino and I worked on the automation of beer production process. Toghether with some friend, I opened the Open Lab Matera, with the purpose to develop common projects and share them with other enthusiastic people. We develop some open source projects in the field of human handicap and environment. I knew Paolo Bonelli in Milan and we decided to open the first italian community for the environment monitoring with low cost open source instruments
