Sapienza University THESMA PROJECT - Terahertz and Spectrometry Manuscript Analysis

In the International Year of the Light, we develop a ground-breaking new method to study Manuscript, applying Photonics to Philology: THESMA PROJECT, which intends to bring back to light texts that have been lost or damaged over time. Throught Terahertz & Spectometry, texts concealed under cartouche or hidden in pages stuck together and impossible to separate are finally and safely brought to light. To preserve the largest heritage of written culture in Europe, interpret texts through the history of their corrections and enter into the creative workshop of the great writers of the past.
