In questa edizione della MakerFaire Rome viene presentata una nuova scheda di controllo denominata Neo 1.1. La scheda aggiornata e collaudata consente di pilotare un attuatore elettrico (motori a spazzole, voice coil, elettrovalvole pneumatiche, solenoidi, ecc..) e gestire un encoder digitale supportata da un firmware open source.
Durante la fiera verrĂ esibito un robot cartesiano dotato di motori DC con encoder ottici pilotati dalle schede Neo 1.1.
