Design Food Engineering, Unimore students projects, prof. Francesco Bombardi with Future Food Institute
Four projects realized during the course of industrial Design at facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, directed by Francesco Bombardi sponsored by Future Food Institute in the field of Master Food Institute inside the Master Food Innovation Program.
The projects concern the field of research of Food and study the relation between tradition and innovation by menas of prototyping.
Prototypes:
1) SCRATCHY - Wearable grater - Matteo Rossi;
2) ICEIND, rosette quality - A system for controlling the food defrosting - Anna Bellodi;
3) SLICE FOOD ART - Tools for personalized slice of cold cuts - Matteo Cugola;
4) BOMBETTATRICE - System for the packaging of wine small doses for street food - Matteo Carnevali.
The course was held with the support of Officine Gattaglio Reggio Emilia.

Francesco Bombardi: architect (Politecnico di Milano, 1997) , teaches Industrial Design in Food at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he is on the Engineering Faculty. He is the founder of Fab Lab Reggio Emilia, founder and coordinator of Mak-ER Emilia Romagna, ideator and director of "Officucina" for the Food Innovation Program , architect and designer of the Design Thinking Area for Barilla and is the curator of the "Kitchen Tools" installation for the New Craft exhibit in the XXI Triennale di Milano.
Anna Bellodi: born in Correggio (RE), graduate at Liceo Scientifico Lazzaro Spallanzani di Reggio Emilia and studing Ingegneria Meccatronica at Facoltà di Reggio Emilia.
Matteo Carnevali: born in Carpi (MO), graduated at ITI Leonardo da Vinci di Carpi and studing Ingegneria Meccatronica at Facoltà di Reggio Emilia.
Matteo Cugola: born in Scandiano (RE), graduated as Perito Tecnico Industriale by Istituto Tecnico Industriale Einaudi di Correggio and studing Ingegneria Meccatronica at Facoltà di Reggio Emilia.
Matteo Rossi: born in Guastalla (RE), graduated at Liceo Scientifico Giacomo Ulivi of Parma and studing Ingegneria Meccatronica at Facoltà di Reggio Emilia.
