DWS Systems, italian additive manufacturing leader in the 3D printers production, for the 2016 edition reconfirms itself as Main Sponsor of Maker Faire Rome Europe edition.
In its 120 sq.m booth, DWS will present “Fabbrica 4.0: business your idea”.
It won’t be a traditional stand: Fabbrica 4.0 is thought to open the doors of the rapid prototyping to prosumers, final professional consumers, with the aim to show the new potentialities of business, the functionality and the quality of the 3D printing.
Fabbrica 4.0 is dedicated to entrepreneurs, young startups, designers, makers, inventors and students who will have the chance to see a whole productive process: from the concept, to the order through e-commerce, to the real production with DWS 3D printers.
DWS chooses four designers to whom entrusts the design of as many glasses for a Maker Faire limited edition: Fabio Caresi, Enea Vitali, Alice Barki, and Salvatore Saldano will design eyeglasses and sunglasses which will be produced and shipped during the faire.
From the design to the realization of a finished and ready to be shipped model: no more space and time barriers, but an immediate process that creates real and available products.
DWS Systems intends to spread the culture on new opportunities of business in a sustainable and affordable vision: just in time production with a contained investment.
The commitment is on educational as well: in support of the talent, of the creativity and to incentivize the use of the 3D printing in schools, DWS, in collaboration with Maker Faire Rome, promotes a Call for Schools. It is a real contest where schools can partecipate presentino a project that has the aim to improve the quality of life. The best fifty-five projects chosen for innovation and originality will be selected by a panel of judges who will declare the winner. The proclaim of the winner will be during the exhibition: the winning school will receive a 3D printer XFAB as reward.
