The idea that this company wants to propose, concerns a new type of plaster, lightweight and breathable, obtained from a material of plant origin, namely vegetable fibers of Luffa cylindrica, dispersed in a thermoplastic biodegradable matrix (polycaprolactone), moldable on the patient's body, and that at the end of useful life can be conferred in compostable waste .The new product is easy to use and could be of very wide use: it has a low cost to the National Health System and for the patient has the advantage of being compact, more comfortable and breathable by virtue of several aeration holes on the whole surface , and it presents a pleasant appearance. At the end of the cycle of use it may be destined for composting and presents a LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) extremely reduced in comparison of the existing principals, bringing considerable benefits to the environment impact, responding to new directives, which will also gradually introduced in health
