UltraBike - independent cycling for the blind.
UltraBike allows independent and safe cycling for people of all ages, who are blind or visually impaired by using ultrasound sensors to detect the boundary of the cycle track, giving navigational feedback to the cyclist through two vibrating buttons positioned at each end of the handlebars. This navigational feedback allows the cyclist to stay within the centre of the track as they are cycling. The UltraBike opens up a whole new world for adults and children who are visually impaired or blind, giving them the chance, not just to participate in cycling but improving their health and wellbeing.
