Hydrobot conversion to an electronically controlled Robot vehicle

An electronically controlled ROV based on Open-source software for real-time monitoring of the aquatic environment, moving of the vehicle in predesigned routes based on repeating or random patterns in order to watch specific target points, controlling via alternative devices like joysticks, gamepads, smartphones, even controlling via voice commands.

Hydrobot conversion to an electronically controlled Robot vehicle

1st Junior High School of Papagou, 3rd Grade (C Gymnasiou)

The students that attended the class were 13-15 years old. At first they started assembling the Hydrobot that provided by the Eugenides Foundation which represents MIT Sea Perch in Greece. In the process the students, under the guidance of Mr. Vamvakaris Michalis, IT professor, and Kalemis Georgios, Science professor, had the idea to control the ROV using a personal computer. They were given the appropriate hardware and software and after many hours of trial and error they succeed their goal.
