ROBOT AVATAR controllabile con sensori biometrici indossabili

It’s a remote control system of a PHYSICAL AVATAR that could be used to intervene in situations too dangerous for an operator, such as catastrophic events or terroristic and war scenarios.
The project makes use of a RAPIRO humanoid robot, moved by 12 servos, which acts like a robotic replica of the owner, who controls it by sensors placed on the body.
The legacy control electronics has been substituted by a UDOO Neo board to achieve the necessary functionality and connectivity for the specific use as AVATAR.
The worn sensors are interfaced with an Arduino UNO board, which acquires the data and transmits them by a Bluetooth link to the UDOO board on the robot.
