Bachicoltura: un'attività da reinventare con le nuove tecnologie.
The project provides for the realization of a reel, electrical or mechanical, powered by two engines: a first one, step-by-step engine, that manages rotation speed and, by necessity, a possible break of the wheel used to wrap up the thread; and a second one that has to manage the transversal shift and the distribution of the silk thread, avoiding its overlap, at every turn, on the reel itself.
On the other hand, the project provides for the creation of a second machinery equipped with an electronic tester which, by an emitter and a receiver, is capable of reading the thickness of the yarn and, at last, to define its sizing.

Massimo Proia
Born in Avezzano (AQ) the 08/06/1957, and graduated from high school "B. Croce" in Rome, from a young age he was always interested in electronic and mechanic so to enroll in the faculty of physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
Interrupted his studies for work, he has undertaken a craft entrepreneurial mold in the field of technological installations, producing mobile partition walls office systems.
Now he devotes most of his time in the creation of prototypes using both electronic technologies, based on components such as Arduino, both mechanical, operated by stepper motors.
