In this project, a wearable Assistive Technology solution for blind people is presented. The aid exploits embedded systems and smart glasses with a camera in order to allow users to understand the surrounding environment, while it take advantages of realtime deep learning techniques aimed at categorizing the detected objects. Therefore the proposed aid can increase the awareness of the explored environment and it interacts with its user by means of audio messages.
