The device can be applied to any kind of bin used to collect vegetable waste oil. It sends the level of the oil to a management center, allowing to optimize the trips to collect the oil and helping saving time and money. The circuit, based on Arduino, measures the level of the oil through an ultrasonic sensor and communicates with the center using a GSM sim card. The system can be installed on normal 200 or 500 liters bins with internal plastic or steel container. It is very easy to install and it is not necessary to pierce the oil container, but only the internal lid. The circuit cannot be seen from the outside and it is sheltered from the weather by the external cover of the bin. The power is provided by a battery that is recharged during the day by a solar panel placed directly on the fixing poles of the bin. The device communicates by data connection using an IoT broker or directly to a receiving server. The bin sends the level of the oil, the charge of the battery, and its installation location.
