Francesca Leone, a 39 - year old architect from Rome, having spent years in the world of designer objects and interiors design, is now going back to devote herself to what in the past has been her passionate hobby: the recycling and reuse of materials, giving them a new life and new use.
She is especially interested in the recycling of inner tubes , acquired through bike shop or through acquaintances and friends who share the same passion for bicycles as herself.
It is has proven to be a material very well suited to make handmade jewellery and accessories.
When embellished with pieces of bicycle chains, ceramic pearls and other materials, the jewellery suggest that"...the poins of view are endless...what it seems is not always what it is...".
