Carrozzina sportiva modulabile
A modulable racing wheelchair designed to satisfy the requests of the italian paralympics team coach. In particular to have a device cheap and modulable to allow as many people as possible to practice athletics.
At present someone who would like to practice athletics should buy an expensive custom made cage, according to its disability and body dimensions, or borrow someone else wheelchair able to satisfy its needs, but it's a very difficult thing because there are only few wheelchairs in each country and they are all custom made.
Instead, our wheelchair is designed to be adapted to different disabilities and body dimensions, and our goal is to provide a low cost device to schools, rehab units, sports organizations or priivate citizens.

Michele Bombardieri & Simone Fontanesi
Michele Bombardieri was born in Bergamo in 1990. He has a degree with honors in mechanical engineering achieved in 2015 from the University of Bergamo.
Simone Fontanesi was born in Bergamo in 1990. He has a degree with honors in mechanical engineering achieved in 2015 from the University of Bergamo.
They worked together at the modulable racing wheelchair during their graduate thesis.
Nowadays they work as mechanical designers at multinational companies in Bergamo and at the same time they are developing the modulable wheelchair.
