CoderBot, un robot per giocare a pensare
CoderBot is a versatile, easy-to-program robot. It is designed for didactic applications in primary and secondary schools under the supervision of the Department of Human Sciences for Education and the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milano-Bicocca. It is endowed with a camera, ultrasonic sensor, and a speech synthesis module. It can be easily programmed using a visual, blockly-based language (accessible to primary school students) and using Python. The main features of CoderBot will be presented through games and interactive activities open to children and adults.

Roberto Previtera, Leonardo Mariani, Edoardo Datteri
Edoardo Datteri is a researcher in philosophy of science, with expertise in the philosophical foundations of Artificial Intelligence, cognitive science, and educational robotics, at the University of Milano-Bicocca. In 2006 he got a PhD in philosophy of science in collaboration and under the supervision of the Biorobotics Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, where he carried out experimental research in biomimetic algorithms for visuo-motor coordination in robots.
Leonardo Mariani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication of the University of Milano Bicocca. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science received from the same university in 2005. His research interests mainly concern software engineering, and in particular software quality, self-adaptive and self-repairing systems. He has been awarded with the ERC Consolidator Grant in 2015 and he is currently active in several European and National projects.
Roberto Previtera is an IT Project Manager, PMP certified and he holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Milano. His professional interests concerns digital process transformation, software architecture, artificial intelligence and robotics. In spare time, other than developing software for fun, he is also a passionate maker and tinkerer.
