La Sartoria Digitale is a tailoring lab for fashion design and accessories through use of Digital Fabrication and Digital Fashion technology. Innovation plus tradition: classic sawing machine works together with laser cutter, 3D scanner and digital patterns. Gioia Tozzi, curious by nature, geek by need and fun. Twenty years spent in software development, in the past 4 years I approached digital fabrication, rapid prototyping and interaction design. Been always passionate about sewing I’ve attended several professional course about pattern making and fashion design; joining together my IT background with passion for sewing bring me to achieve the idea of digital craft lab for fashion design: La Sartoria Digitale.
