EAT-EASY & TAKE-IT-EASY
Antonella is a 13 year old girl with mixed tetraparesis. We were asked to do something so that she could eat in autonomy and with a correct posture. we made two components:
- Eat-Easy: a plate support, raised and adjustable in height for better posture;
- Take-it-Easy: a handshake that allows you to have a bigger handle and fixed to the hand to reduce muscle contraction and spasm; we made another orthosis very similar (with different grip) to allow her to write.

We are student from Politecnico of Turin. We are really interested in making, we have met thanks to the Hackability@Polito project and this allowed us to work with disabled children and create customized products for their needs.
