Sistema automatico di ricarica per aeromobili/droni per applicazioni in ciclo continuo
The project offers a solution to the problem of power supply, by devising an integrated automated system capable of downloading and uploading batteries to allow continuous cycle APR usage.
Such a system could offer high flexibility and is suitable for different tasks thanks to the integration between computer vision and anthropomorphic handling as well as allowing long duration APR monitoring on wide areas or areas at high environmental risk.
In addition the system can be fixed or mobile, according to the task required.

The group was composed of 20 students that completed the project while attending the ITS course TECNICO SUPERIORE PER L'AUTOMAZIONE ED I SISTEMI MECCATRONICI based in Turin which started in 2015 and ended in 2017. They worked in different groups. Each group was responsible for different technical areas (mechanics, electronics, IT, automation, sensor application).
