GiRo

Our project consists in the creation of an Android app called GiRo (GiroRoma), which collects a series of thematic routes chosen by the various members of the groups who worked on the project with the idea of helping tourists and Roman citizens seek a path or a Place of Interest in Capital: the app is able to integrate the experiences of users who want to share their favorite path. The application, through the Google Maps service, can drive you directly to the site by taking advantage of the smartphone's GPS and the Google Direction service that lets you walk around the locations of a particular location.

We are a group of university students who are part of the High School Roma Tre (ASTRE). This is an interdisciplinary bi-annual school: ASTRE brings together students from all three Degree courses in Roma Tre, professors from Roma Tre and professors, Italians or foreigners, with a clear international reputation.
Students, in the number of 40 per two years, are chosen, following admission and selection of credits, among the enrolled in the first year of the master's degree or in the fourth of the five-year degree courses. ASTRA students participate in the educational and scientific initiatives of the School. The ASTRA student completing the school's two-year term, and the degree program of his undergraduate degree, receives an ASTRE degree attesting his success at the School.
