Net4Science
Net4Science is a spin-off proposal of the UMG of Catanzaro. It offers to pharma/biotech/agrifood companies a novel drug discovery approach based on the multi-targeting paradigm implemented in a dedicated chemoinformatic platform. The aim is to contribute to speed up the discovery of novel agents useful for the prevention and the cure of complex diseases (cancer, neurodegenations and viral/bacterial infections). Net4Science is in connection with European research teams involved in MuTaLig COST Action coordinated by the same proposers.

The co-authors belong to the Computational Chemistry Lab of the Department of Health located at the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro, guided by Prof. Stefano Alcaro, full professor of Medicinal Chemistry. They are specialized in drug discovery and computational methods. Recently Prof. Alcaro has proposed the European COST Action MuTaLig and has been nominated chair of CA15135. During this activity the Chemotheca tool was realized and it is now the essential prerequisite of the service implemented in the spin off Net4Science.
