DOCTOR ROBOT

DOCTOR.ROBOT is presented as an extremely flexible device for the various operating modes.
Focusing only on the delivery of medicines, a function that represents the priority project idea, we see that by using the selector you can choose three different delivery options.

MANUAL DELIVERY
The robot is managed remotely via a smatphone, connected via bluetooth, using an app downloaded from the web that turns it into a joystick. All robot movements and information on the surrounding environment are transmitted to the operator by the camera. For convenience of use, and therefore to have a clearer view, you use a PC connected via WiFi with the camera.

SEMIAUTOMATIC DELIVERY
In this mode, the robot uses preprogrammed information about the position of the rooms and the patients who occupy them. Through the control panel the health worker decides which room to send the robot for the delivery of drugs. At this point the movement of the robot is managed by the control system, which brings DOCTOR.ROBOT in the chosen room, communicates to the patient with a vocal message that it is time to take the medicine, delivers the prescribed drug by opening the side cart and distributes a glass of water to encourage its intake. Once the DOCTOR.ROBOT task has been completed, it returns to the base station.

AUTOMATIC DELIVERY
Mode similar to the previous one, but which excludes the choice of the health worker. The robot performs the delivery of drugs in a totally automatic way, following a path traced on the floor and making a control of the distance traveled with the use of an encoder.

Whichever mode of operation is chosen, both the camera, for the control of the path and to make sure that the patient has taken the drug, and the ultrasound sensor, to avoid the impact with possible obstacles on the path and therefore block the robot, are active.
