Dispenser Automatico Medicinali
Our project aims to be helpful in nursing homes by preventing the human error during the medicinal dispensing phase and reducing the duration of the activity. It does so by automatically selecting the right treatment for each patient, leaving the caretaker only to the administration to the patient.
The system is built into a kart for practical transportability and can be divided into four main parts:
• glass dropping system
• transport system to pill dispenser (x axis)
• pill dispenser
• transport system to pickup area (z axis)
An example of a typical cycle is:
• the nurse selects the treatment for a patient;
• the glass dropping system releases a plastic glass
• the glass reaches the right pill dispenser (or multiple ones if necessary) through the x axis
• the glass reaches the pickup area through the z axis

The team that carried out the project consists of 6 people with skills in mechanics, electronics and IT.
Below are the names and roles that the various people have had during the development phase of the project:
-Paolo Barausse: graduated in mechanics at a technical institute, during the development phase of the project he worked on the realization of the electrical panel and wiring supporting Marco Z. in the electrical / electronic activities
-Davide Battistin: graduated in electrical / electronic technical assistance, in the project he had the role of mechanical assembler and designer of the supports for dual axis movimentation system with Marco Z.
-Lorenzo Bellin: graduated in electronics at a technical institute, he supported Davide B. in assembly activities and in the production of pieces with CNC machine
-Marco Cortese: graduated in mechanics, he made 2D drawings using 3D parts made by Davide B. and Marco Z. and made a video in which the various components are presented
-Ayoub Rajy: graduated in electrical / electronic technical assistance, he was involved in the first part on mechanical assembly activities and in the second part he draw up all the project documentation and the use and maintenance manual
-Marco Zampogna: graduated in information technology and telecommunications at a technical institute, in the project he had the role of "project manager" coordinating the team members, dealing with the purchases, the management of the materials and related processing, he also designed the printed pieces in 3D together with Davide B., he designed the electrical panel and programmed the microcontrollers.
