Mojito Machine

Mojito Machine is an automated machine that allows the delivery in a few seconds of a professional Mojito.
The automation is managed by a Raspberry PI3 model B board that communicates with the Ethernet Relay board via Modbus TCP / IP communication protocol. The relay board drives the pump, the solenoid valve and the motor to crush the mint as well as interfacing with the user via a 7 "touch screen.
The liquids extracted from the bottles are dosed into the glass containing ice and mint. The soda is put under pressure by means of CO2 taken from an external cylinder.

The group consists of 6 people and was born within the "Team Working" activity that took place in the ITS Meccatronico course of the Treviso office. Each member of the group took care of all the necessary technical documentation.

The components are:

Civale Francesco - Software and Automation Manager. Within the group I worked on all the software and all the communication between the various devices. I also worked on mechanical design and construction of the designed parts.

Tahmri Anwar - Production Manager. Within the group I took care of all the production and realization of the designed components. I also worked on mechanical design.

Guizzo Niccolò - Mechanical Manager. Within the group I took care of all the design and manufacture of mechanical components.

Martinelli Martino Demetrio - Team Leader. Within the group I took care of all the supervision of the timing and the realization of the machine. I also worked on electrical system.

Poletti Davide - Electrical Manager. Within the group I took care of all the design and construction of the electrical system.

Michelon Andrea - Electrical Department. Within the group I took care of the construction of electrical system.
