Maker Faire Rome è stata l’inizio di tutto per TERRAVIONICS: è lì che ci siamo conosciuti tra co-founders ed è sempre lì che, in occasione dell’11° edizione del 2023, abbiamo volutamente ricercato e trovato altri membri che si sono aggiunti al nostro team. È uno dei pochi “luoghi” realmente “ideali” per confrontarsi, migliorarsi e… innescare le idee!

MYOFEED - MYOELECTRIC PROSTHETIC HAND
The project consists of the realization of the hand prosthesis.
For the implementation of the hand we opted for a single-actuated open source prosthesis made in Korea (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:797558/files).
The muscular signal is taken, conditioned and brought into the microcontroller.
The microcontroller processes it and activates a servomotor that controls the fingers.
The handling of delicate objects is controlled by force sensors that allow feedback, on the force being applied, communicated to the person by means of a vibromotor.

The three classes, from the addresses of Informatics and Telecommunications, proved to be interested in the project, actively participating in the definition of the project specifications and the corresponding problems.
