Food, house, health, energy, work, art and culture. Shamballa responds to the basic needs of man through digital fabrication. Mixing innovative technologies and simple materials, such as the earth and fibers of waste from the food chain, houses are built at a cost that tends to zero and have a low environmental impact. Medical devices are developed that radically modify the common approach to the production of prostheses and implants. And again, re-evaluating natural principles handed down for thousands of years, projects are presented for new forms of cultivation such as the vertical farm, self-sufficient and with zero waste, as well as automatic and precision cultivation systems. Furthermore in Shamballa we deal with circular economy systems, for example through the recycling of plastic new life is given to disused objects to transform the problem of pollution into a resource.
CSP (Centro Sviluppo Progetti) was born in 2003 as a result of the company’s founder Massimo Moretti’s experience in the fields of electronic and mechanical engineering. In 2012 we created WASP (World’s Advanced Saving Project). The project is based on the 3D printing development, an open source field with the aim of spreading knowledge and technological tools. WASP makes professional 3D printers with the purpose of promoting the idea of sustainable development and the maker culture. The proceeds from the 3D printers sales are invested in new research and projects.
