Simulatore assetto nave.
The project has the aim of simulating, using a fiberglass ship model, a balancing system of a ship which, following the heeling caused by the loading on board of freight, reaches its initial position by acquiring signals from a gyroscopic sensor and through the processing of signals themselves using an Arduino-based control system, it operates the loading and unloading of the four ballast tanks activating eight different pumps, unlike the system commonly used on board ships in which the ballast pumps are operated manually to reach the trimming needed for the navigation.

Some of the students of the fourth AIM class section A, collaborated with the teacher Ing. Maurizio Iarlori putting into practice some concepts gained during the various courses concerning hydrostatics, ship safety and electronics, creating a fiberglass ship model on which they fitted the necessary balancing devices.
