Every year, hundreds of billions of microscopic shreds of the transparent films of greenhouses or plastic mulching sheets used in the fields are now found in European and all over the world fields, non-decomposable and eternally persistent in the soil and consequently in rivers, lakes and seas .
The European Chemicals Agency, ECHA, (https://echa.europa.eu/), through its spokesperson Matti Vainio presented during a meeting in Finland, the need to ban the disposable plastic le microbeds from 2021 cosmetics but even more so the unknown pollution from plastics in the fields and in agriculture.
