Low-cost efficient Pest Control by use of a automated Laser Beam
Two stepper-motors are used to control and direct a small laser device (1-2 Watts of power) for the control and eradication of pests (Halyomorpha halys, Cimice asiatica). The targeting system uses a videocamera and a Raspberry Pi 4, and the hitting area (where insects gather) is constrained onto a flat vertical wall (or ceiling). It can be adapted for use agains flying mosquitoes.
