Vega Launcher Avionics Model

Vega Launcher Avionics Model

Vega launcher 1:6 scale model divided in stages with avionics units to be installed. Can be used to teach about the avionics systems of Vega and how a launcher work. This is a practical activity in which groups of kids (8-13 years old) cooperate to assemble each stage and then the whole launcher before testing it to verify its readiness for launch. Only if all connections are correct the test will succeed.
This activity has been designed by BIS-Italia for ESA Vega Programme which kindly loaned it for display at Maker Faire Rome.
