Learning with Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) may be used to optimize educational offers, improve the efficiency of  learning tools learning systems, and a way to manage communication and collaboration among the various actors in the school community: teachers, students, families, school administration and the territory. We propose four applications based on AI techniques, such as automatic speech recognition and eye-tracking techniques, to support learning and easying the inclusion of all students in the school community.

Roberto Gretter (researcher in SpeechTek) received a degree in Electronic Engineering. He deals with speech technologies, including automatic speech recognition, language modeling at several levels, multilinguality, dialogue.

Ornella Mich (researcher in i3) received a degree in Electronic Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science. Mich's personal research interests focus on the field of e-learning and human-computer interaction (HCI) with much of her research focusing on design and evaluation methodologies related to intelligent interfaces and accessibility-related issues.
