All countries in the world are called upon to implement programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture and review their food production systems in order to tackle climate change. Furthermore, in line with the future population increase, global food demand could also increase by 60% in the coming decades. The world of agriculture will therefore have to face the problem of having to meet the growing global demand for food while reducing the environmental impact of production.
The proposed project provides - with the support of OMA, World Farmers' Organization - the selection of good practices resilient to climate change, the assessment of applicability to the Italian territory but also lectures and seminars to provide technical and training tools.
