DIH² and RIMA: European Networks of DIHs in Robotics

Digital Innovation Hub² (DIH²) and Robotics for Inspection and Infrastructure Maintenance (RIMA) are European projects funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 framework program. The projects have the same goal: to accelerate the knowledge and technology uptake among the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and slightly bigger (up to 500 employees and a maximum of €100 million in turnover), in the field of robotics, through the pan-european networks of DIH.
DIH² is a European network of 26 Digital Innovation Hubs that focuses on innovation in the agile production of manufacturing companies (www.dih-squared.eu).
RIMA is a European network of 13 Digital Innovation Hubs with the aim to foster the use of robotic technologies for inspection and maintenance, in various fields (www.rimanetwork.eu).

The CREATE consortium is a non-profit research organization with as its members 6 universities in the southern part of Italy and a private industrial partner. It is the only Italian partner for both the DIH networks.

This is a great opportunity European Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and slightly bigger companies which have developed innovative solutions and fresh ideas that accelerate manufacturing or that improve the efficiency of the monitoring infrastructures through the use of robotics.
During the event, system integrators, tech providers and manufacturing SMEs can be informed on how to receive up to €300,000 in equity-free funding and get into an innovation acceleration programme, applying the upcoming Open Calls, which will be launched by the two networks.
