ACUADORI – Measuring water in plants

ACUADORI is an easy-to-use, low-cost platform for water monitoring of vineyards. It has minimal impact on agricultural activities, minimal or no maintenance requirements and consists of a network of wireless devices with very low consumption. The platform core are novel sensors capable of monitoring the leaves to assess hydration level of the plant. The sensing units are arranged in an IoT network based on LoRa radio technology to acquire and distribute the data. All information is available on the cloud to enable informed decisions on irrigation strategies.
