Il patrimonio per tutti: nuove esperienze sensoriali per la fruizione dei beni culturali
The project aims to develop a path of innovation and research designed by MArTA and FabLab Poliba able to combine the world of cultural heritage to the world of disability, exploiting the possibilities offered by digital fabrication. The goal is to try to close the gap between the cultural heritage and its users by making them visit-actors and involving them in a reality to be discovered and 'touched' with an active and intuitive approach. The archaeological treasures of the MArTA will be the focus of these experiences, through reproductions made with the help of new technologies, such as scanning and 3D printing.
FabLab Poliba in collaborazione con MArTA
The FabLab POLIBA is a laboratory of the Polytechnic of Bari, co-managed by the City of Bitonto through the cultural association Fablab Bitonto, designed and created on the model proposed by the FabAccademy of MIT and then linked to an international network of laboratories that share the philosophy "Maker". In recent years it has specialized in the development and application of innovative technologies and processes for digital manufacturing. The Fablab Poliba is an open and inclusive community for artisans, professionals, businesses, researchers, students where to develop innovative projects and promote the sharing of knowledge.
