Efflics: Eco-Friendly Fluidics for Fluid Power

Efflics: Eco-Friendly Fluidics for Fluid Power

EFFLICS aims to develop new design methodologies of fluid machines and hydraulic components, using eco-friendly fluids, to be used in power transmissions. In addition to new design methodologies of volumetric machines, Efflics foresees the development of innovative surfaces with high affinity to eco-friendly lubricating fluids, and of an “electronic nose” to determine the aging state of the fluids. The project is co-financed by POR FESR Emilia-Romagna 2014-2020 and Fondo per lo Sviluppo e la Coesione, and involves 4 research laboratories and 3 companies as industrial partner.
