REaD-EV3 ovvero Robotica Educativa a Distanza con Lego Mindstorms EV3
REaD-EV3 is e-learning project of educational robotics based on Lego® MindStorms® EV3, in which the teacher physically owns the robot and the learner is guided to program it remotely. Computer programming is being carryied out through the free Open Roberta Lab platform.
The ReaD-EV3 was developed to meet the need for physical distancing between teachers and learners, while allowing the programming of a real robot moving in a physical space.
This system can be useful when the learner cannot be physically close to the robot.
Marco Picarella
Marco Picarella, 55, with a degree in Biological Sciences, is responsible for designing and implementing workshops on STEM subjects that are mainly intended for primary and middle school students.
He is also teacher trainer for educational robotics and coding.
He is president of the social cooperative "La Fucina delle Scienze", based in Padua.
