EXO

EXO

EXO is an active exoskeleton designed to be fixed on the patient's legs. The aims are two: rehabilitative and assistive, that depends by the patient's situation. EXO is fixed respectively on the waist and on the legs through the use of elastic bands in order to be stable. It consists of three parts: hip, knee and ankle, all three adjustable in order to be suitable for everyone. Respectively on the hip and on the knee there are two motors while on the ankle the presence of a spring allows to reduce the weight. EXO can be controlled through the use of our application where you can change the mode of use as needed.

Our group is made of 4 members, all attending the same address of the ITI Francesco Severi in Padua. We are a united group with different ideas and different perspectives for the future, but we are all connected by the same passion for robotics but in general for the realization of new ideas and projects. It is not the first time that we have participated in a project of this size, in fact we are the winners of the category Riabilitation of the 2022 Robotics Olympics.
