Annalisa Santucci - Full Professor of Biochemistry. Director of the Department of Excellence in Biotechnology Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Siena. Coordinator of the Unisi Life Sciences Macronode of the ARTES 4.0 Industry 4.0 Competence Center. His scientific research activity has been focused on understanding molecular mechanisms of diseases, especially rare ones. Founder and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of aimAKU, Italian Association of Alkaptonuria Patients. More recently she has become passionate about the biochemical aspects of circular bioeconomy and therefore became Founder and Chairman of the Scientific Technical Committee of SienabioACTIVE, a bioeconomy spin off of the University of Siena.
