Participating in Maker Faire Rome 2023 was a rewarding experience for Team HULKs. Collaborating with fellow robotics enthusiasts and showcasing our soccer-playing robots allowed us to exchange ideas and explore the latest advancements in the field. Maker Faire serves as a valuable platform for us to share our passion for robotics and engage with a diverse community of makers. We look forward to future Maker Faire events as opportunities to continue learning and innovating in the realm of humanoid robotics.

Crab attack: come sconfiggere gli alieni nel Mar Mediterraneo!
"Dove il mare pi blu, attenzione al granchio blu (Callinectes sapidus)!" is a project financed by European Funds. The main objective is to evaluate the presence, the distribution, impacts and interactions with fisheries of the invasive blue crab (Callinectes sapidus) along the Tuscan coast. The project aims to realize eradication plans through specific catches. Being a commercialized species, it will be studied from a toxicological point of view to evaluate the presence of harmful substances in its meats. Awareness activities on its consumption is another goal of our project.

Letizia Marisli is the scientific coordinator of the research group "Monitoring Marine and Terrestrial Environment - Conservation of Nature (MAGIAMARE - SIENA)". She is Associate Professor at the University of Siena and delegate of the Rector to students and student citizenship. She developed non-lethal monitoring and analysis techniques to study the presence and effects of environmental contaminants in terrestrial and marine organisms. To conduct her research she uses a multidisciplinary approach with the aim of establishing the environmental quality of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
